Yay! My first ever product review! And to kick off this (hope to be) series, I am going to give you my thoughts on my Zoeva Luxe Prime brush set. Although I got this set a couple of years ago, the exact same set is still available to buy today. Below are the details of the brush set, along with a breakdown of what’s included:

My Thoughts
I originally heard about the brand Zoeva from YouTube makeup tutorials, so I had high hopes and fortunately they didn’t disappoint. These brushes are SO soft, amazing quality and most importantly they blend my makeup really beautifully. As soon as I started using them my makeup skills seemed to drastically improve… I could finally do smokey eyes without looking like I’d been punched in the face!
I wanted this set in particular because it includes a brush for every basic function; a foundation brush, a concealer buffer, a couple of eye blenders, a big fluffy powder brush and some others for good measure. I can safely say that I use every single one of these brushes for some part of my makeup routine, not necessarily for their intended purpose, but that shows their versatility right? For example the Wing Liner brush is great for brow pomade, and the Luxe Soft Definer I also use for highlighting certain areas of my face.
To be honest, this is only the second set of ‘professional’ makeup brushes that I’ve ever owned, so I can’t compare them to many other brands. However, compared to my first set of brushes which were from The Body Shop, these are in another league! (No hate on The Body Shop, I love their products.) I also don’t currently own any other Zoeva makeup so I can’t comment on their cosmetics, but if their makeup is as good as their brushes I’m sure it’s top quality.
The one major drawback of this brush set is that only 2 of the brushes are vegan, the rest contain natural and synthetic bristles. I am not vegan and the set is not advertised as being vegan, I just thought I’d mention it as a lot of people, understandably, only buy vegan products.
So whether you’re an amateur looking for your first set of brushes or a fully fledged MUA wanting some new brushes to invest in, I would highly recommend Zoeva’s brush sets. They also have the cutest themed sets on their website, such as the Rose Gold set or the Bamboo set which are definitely on my wishlist!

I love Morphe brushes! I’ve done a blog post about them in my makeup do over post – check it out! They’re such good quality and so cheap so you can warrant buying a few sets! I also think you can’t go wrong with Eco tools or real technique brushes!! Xxx
