LSU School of Interior Design students have access to thefacilitiesthey need to create, learn, and excel in their studies.Whether a student needs to build a model, print a master plan, or prepare a final project for review, the School of Interior Design or the College of Art & Design has a resource in place to help.Students and faculty can research materials, finishes, and furnishings and browse a full range of samples in theMaterials Resource Library. TheDesign Shop, a traditional wood-working studio where students have access to state-of-the-art digital fabrication equipment including a 3D printer, laser cutter, and CNC mill, is located next door in the Art Building.Students can rent photography and lighting equipment and access more 3D printers and a 3D scanner while learning effective communication skills specific to the discipline of interior design at theCommunication across the Curriculum (CxC) Art & Design Studio.TheVizLaboffers large-scale printing, scanning, and other computer services as well as specialty software.

Students seeking academic advice can meet with counselors in theOffice of Student Services, located in the heart of the college on the second floor of the Design Building.

Beyond the studio, networking opportunities with fellow students, faculty, alumni, and professionals abound through the School of Interior Design'sstudent organizations.Students may also choose from a variety ofstudy abroadopportunities including programs in South Africa, China, and Germany.
