Shannon Nichol, landscape architect and founding partner of Gustafson Guthrie Nichol, will present a lecture titled "Repair Works" at the LSU College of Art + Design at 5 p.m.on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in room 103 of the LSU Design Building.The lecture is part of the 2013–14 LSU College of Art + Design Paula G.Manship Endowed Lecture Series.

hth华体会体育app官网Gustafson Guthrie Nichol (GGN) is a landscape architecture practice based in Seattle, Washington, founded in 1999 by partners Jennifer Guthrie, Shannon Nichol, and Kathryn Gustafson.GGN's work is highly varied in scale and type—from furniture to campuses and master plans.Nichol's designs, including Millennium Park's Lurie Garden, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Campus, and Boston's North End Parks, are widely recognized for being deeply embedded in their neighborhoods and natural contexts.Her work incorporates complex functions into simple frameworks and refined landforms.
