The LSU School of Art Presents Fine Lines Thin Places
The LSU School of Art presents Fine Lines Thin Places, the 2015–16 season of lectures and exhibitions by visiting artists and scholars.
Fine linesdescribes, in the Celtic tradition, a space that is filled with an extraordinary spiritual richness. This season, we try to strike a balance between this quest for primordial spirituality and the demands of the fast-paced contemporary and digital age.Our selection of artists suggests a dialogue between the mind and the physical world.Fine Lines Thin Places is the intertwining of two or more seemingly distinct elements and the celebration of how this interweaving of disparate components can unleash new visions and unique approaches to creativity.
